The Mystical Lanterns Crochet Workshop is for experienced beginners/intermediates
This striking arabesque pattern has a repeated tessellating design providing a very pleasing flow and rhythm. The design is called an ‘ogee’. An ogee is a popular design element you may see in architecture and home wear. It can be identified by its continuous ‘S’ shaped curves, the narrowing and widening of the two curves form a perfect oval.
This is a Janie Crow design and you will get your own original pattern included.
You will have some choice within this workshop; once you’ve mastered your Mystical Lantern you could make a scarf, a wrap or a blanket, or perhaps just continue to make these mindful little lanterns and decide later what they may become for you. This is a great pattern for playing with colour and we will chat about this in class. The Cygnet DK colour pallet available in shop will make some beautiful lanterns.
