Making and Using Continuous Bias Binding – Sunday 21st May – Morning

In this half day class we’ll learn all about making your own bias binding out of any fabric. We’ll learn the continuous method that can be used on any square or rectangle and learn how to calculate how much fabric you need for a specific quantity of binding. We’ll practise making bias binding in a a variety of widths using bias binding makers. Finally we’ll practise both bias tape appliqué and binding straight and curved edges plus corners on a small sample shape. This should give you all the skills required to never have to buy pre-made bias binding again!

This class is designed to work together with the class, ‘Quick & Easy Bias Tape Appliqué Quilt’. This takes place on the morning of Sunday the 11th of June. If you want to use the bias binding you’ve made in a project then you can sign up for that class as well. You will be refunded £5 if you sign up for both.
