Saturday 27th May – full day 10.30am – 4pm

This full day class will teach you how to make a double pointed Dresden quilt block and how to transform it into a lovely wall clock contained in an embroidery hoop. A Dresden block is always lovely and a great use for scraps of fabric. The technique used here puts points at either end of each wedge which makes it easier to appliqué in place and creates a lovely star in the centre of the block. You can use these blocks for all sorts of things, cushions quilts, tote bags and more! The clock technique is also versatile and once you’ve learnt how to do it you can make embroidery hoop clocks out of all sorts of different quilt blocks and fabrics.

You will need your sewing machine and fabric (exact details will be sent with your order acknowledgement).

This class is suitable for those with basic sewing skills. You must have experience with machine sewing, especially sewing a reasonably straight quarter inch seam.
