The Crochet Socks Workshop is for experienced beginners/intermediates
Handmade socks are not just for knitters! Easier than knitted socks the construct of crochet socks provides a beautiful texture, making them soft, cosy, and comfy. Great boot socks or add nonslip textile liquid to create slipper socks for a wonderful handmade Christmas Gift.
For this workshop you will be well versed in identifying and working into stitches and chain spaces, working in rows, and some experience of following a pattern. If you have attended any of Karen’s workshops for beginners/improvers, then this is your next step.
In week one we will start our first sock top down to the heal. Your homework will be to work the foot to the toes. In week two we will construct the afterthought heal and toes.
There will be lots of time for me to demonstrate and support you as you learn how to create your very own crochet socks.
