Colour Pop Crochet
Saturday 9th March – Afternoon 2pm – 4:30pm
Tutor – Karen Thomson
A crochet workshop for well-practiced beginners/improvers
This playful, and mindful pattern is ideal for crochet improvers and will move your crochet skills on. Beginning with cute little coloured rounds that then develop into squares, followed by the Join as you Go JAYG technic. Add this to your repertoire of crochet skills and you can use the JAYG on other patterns too. JAYG gives a professional, seamless look to your work, leaving a flat finish as opposed to the textured look you may usually find in crochet.
This is a great pattern for ‘playing’ with colour, and we will chat about this before we start our workshop.
You will receive a copy of Tracey Todhunter’s Colour Pop Cowl pattern. However, you could choose to make a scarf, or larger wrap, or go larger and make a blanket, it would make a beautiful baby blanket.
