Description
Originally created for Liberty in 1967, this Tudor-style monochrome rose design offers a contemporary take on a traditional Arts and Crafts pattern. It reflects a signature motif that appears throughout the Liberty building, in an homage to the store’s rich heritage.
The Emporium Collection is inspired by the historic architecture and interiors of Liberty’s iconic Tudor flagship store in the heart of London. An eclectic mix of floral, paisley and geometric designs draw from ornately carved wooden details, hand-crafted tilework and the iconic timbered exterior – as well as the beautiful blooms of the flower stall out in the front.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
